Camp Blessing Tx (CBTX) is a Houston-based nonprofit ministry offering a week-long, residential summer camp designed to be barrier-free for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, their families, and volunteers. The organization aims to demonstrate the hope of Jesus Christ through a caring, accepting environment that emphasizes love and fun, with a calendar that includes campers and volunteer counselors since its inception in 2006. The camp operates within the philanthropic fundraising services space, focusing on distributing resources to create accessible experiences and expand its reach. A notable recent development is the acquisition of a 158-acre property near Brenham, with plans to establish a permanent facility that will broaden its service area to include Austin, Brenham, San Antonio, and College Station and enable year-round programming. Located in Magnolia, Texas, the organization positions itself as a regional provider of accessible, faith-based summer camp experiences for individuals with special needs, while also offering retreat facilities for related ministries during the off-season.
