Camp Pemigewassett operates a traditional sleepaway camp for boys aged 8 to 15 in Wentworth, in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire. With a history spanning more than a century, it has long served as an anchor for families seeking a steady educational summer experience away from daily routines. Unlike specialty camps, Pemigewassett offers instruction across four program areas—Sports, Nature, Music and Art, and Trips—providing pathways from beginner to advanced levels within each domain. This structure supports ongoing participation in familiar interests while enabling campers to explore new talents as they mature, helping to foster lifelong friendships and well-rounded citizenship. In January 2025, the camp announced a partnership with the Montana Wilderness School to oversee trip logistics and provide additional outdoor educators, reflecting a recent enhancement of its program resources.
