The Canadian Association of Radiologists is a nonprofit organization that has supported Canadian radiologists for more than eight decades. It advances patient care, advocacy, and education in radiology, working with governments, health professionals, and technology leaders to ensure imaging is used appropriately and timely, while also serving as the voice of Canadian radiology to inform stakeholders about benefits, risks, and challenges. Through its educational initiatives, it develops and promotes continuing medical education and research to keep radiologists at the forefront of medical imaging. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the CAR is a small to mid-sized nonprofit organization within the radiology sector. In March 2026, the association launched a radiology education platform to provide high-quality education for Canadian radiologists.
