The Canned Food Alliance (CFA) is a partnership of the American Iron and Steel Institute’s Steel Packaging Council, steelmakers, can manufacturers, food processors and affiliate members. The primary goal of the CFA to drive increased consumption of canned fruits, vegetables, beans, meats and other proteins by enhancing perceptions about their many benefits, including nutrition, convenience, affordability, year-round availability and sustainability. As a member of the Produce for Better Health (PBH) Foundation, National Fruit and Vegetable Alliance, and a USDA National Strategic Partner, we consistently communicate the benefits of all forms of fruits and vegetables in an effort to increase overall consumption among consumers and strive to encourage health and nutrition industry professionals and policymakers to do the same.
