CanSurround is a personalized, comprehensive, web and mobile experience for people living with cancer. We are solely focused on reducing needless distress and creating emotional well-being for those we serve. 

The CanSurround team estimates that for every person diagnosed with cancer, at least five additional lives are affected by the disease. Because cancer’s influence is far reaching, CanSurround serves all whose lives are changed by cancer—patient, family, friends, and co-workers. Considering all phases of the cancer journey—diagnosis, treatment and survivorship—we provide information and inspiration to guide participants toward choices that foster personal growth and healing. By building a trusted relationship with all users, CanSurround helps them to gain confidence, better steer their way through the cancer experience and let go of some of their fear and worry. In 2013, CanSurround became the first Delaware-based company to be incorporated as a Public Benefit Corporation under Delaware's statute enacted that same year. 

This distinction reflects our commitment to participate in a global movement to conduct business in a way that benefits society and the environment. The benefit corporation is a new type of company that is held accountable for serving society, as well as its shareholders.
