Cape Associates, Inc. was established in 1971 by Lester F. Langhans, Jr., a life-long builder who had relocated to the Cape a year earlier. From three employees to over one hundred full-time, year ‘round employees, the company has grown to be one of the largest builders on Cape Cod. In 1978 an office, warehouse and shop encompassing over 5,000 square feet was constructed at our present site in North Eastham. This facility houses a fully equipped and staffed office, storage for our construction equipment and vehicles, and a large heated shop for woodworking projects and winter painting. Of significance to our customers, it also allows us to store the records of our past jobs. In the fall of 2002, we opened our second office in Barnstable, now located in Yarmouthport. In 2013 we opened a third office in Chatham. Cape Associates currently works all over Cape Cod and the islands, from our many projects in Provincetown to Plymouth; Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.
