Caphyon is an independent software company founded in 2002 and headquartered in the city of Craiova, Romania. 

Caphyon was built by two local CS graduates on three strong beliefs: 

First, that it is possible to create world-class software products anywhere in the world, not just in Silicon Valley, New York or other similar technology hubs.

Second, that treating developers with respect and offering them a top environment, with absolutely the best of everything they need to get the job done, will result in a visible, direct and distinct improvement in the quality of the products offered to our users.

Third, that a fun, open, unrestricted medium will foster creativity, will offer freedom to innovate and will allow space to create products that delight customers and recruit our users into our strongest advocates.

Three basic principles formed the recipe of the young startup:

1. Bring together smart, young people with a burning passion for technology.
2. Help them choose powerful, modern technologies that allow them to grow as developers and in their careers.
3. Respect and cherish our users. Understand and listen to them. Consider them a member of the team. Allow their continuous feedback to shape the product though an agile release cycle. 

Then to those add time and you get a flourishing software company with an amazing team, two flagship products leading in their respective markets and countless other prototypes and ideas.
