Capitol Airspace Group is an aviation consulting firm that provides analytical, strategic and advocacy services to airports, communities and commercial developers. The company’s core competency is in air traffic control operations, airspace, terminal instrument procedures and obstacle assessment. Capitol Airspace also provides broad-area assessments, radar traffic count studies, solar glint and glare analyses, FAA filings, and mitigation services.

Capitol Airspace’s principal and owner is Benjamin M. Doyle, a former military air traffic control tower chief. Capitol Airspace Group draws upon leading experts and executives in the country to identify, study and resolve airspace impacts and airport encroachment. 

Capitol Airspace prides itself on helping airports and developers strike a balance between the desire for economic development and the need to preserve the national airspace system. Over the past seventeen years, we have developed strong working relationships with key managers and decision makers within FAA, Department of Defense and airport authorities.
