Capstone University is an institution of higher learning for religious and spiritual professionals. We offer masters and doctorate degrees in four different areas: Progressive Christian Studies, Spiritual Direction, Chaplaincy, and Divinity. Our courses are interfaith, ecumenical, and interspiritual in scope and practice. The academy was created to help ministry professionals, administrators, and volunteers reach their goals of advancing their spiritual training by earning degrees. We appreciate the knowledge and experience that comes after years of working in a spiritual community. We also understand that hands-on, life experience in ministry and pastoral work doesn't just come from text books and lectures. Life is often the best teacher. Spiritual leadership grows out of the relationships we form with those we support. We know that at the heart of our mission is to accept the calling to provide comfort and hope to those who need it. Our students may come from many different religious backgrounds and spiritual paths, but the goal is clear - we want to serve others and our Divine spiritual calling. We also want to help the people we work with to have their own experience of the divine presence in their lives. Whether you are religious, humanist, spiritual-but-not-religious, interspiritual, interfaith, integral, panentheist, or other spiritual orientation, we can help you move in a direction that is right for you.
