Harvard Divinity School (HDS) is one of the world’s foremost institutions for scholarship and education in religious and ministry studies. Harvard University’s Faculty of Divinity are among the most distinguished scholars and teachers of religious studies and ministry in a wide range of disciplines and faith traditions. The School’s degree programs—the Master of Theological Studies (MTS), Master of Divinity (MDiv) and Master of Religion and Public Life (MRPL), as well as the PhD with the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences—prepare students for careers in academia, ministry, and a wide range of roles across the nonprofit, private, and public sectors.

Founded in 1816, Harvard Divinity School is one of 12 graduate/professional schools at Harvard University.
