In 1989, Cardinal Environmental was founded in response to industry and public demand for quality, timely and comprehensive environmental engineering services.

Throughout Cardinal’s early environmental development, the firm was involved in a significant amount of pure civil engineering services, such as transportation design, land planning, utility study and design and site development. Through these practices, Cardinal developed a corporate resume with a significant number of civil engineering and surveying projects.

In 1999, Cardinal purchased Lemke Land Surveying and changed our name to Cardinal Engineering to bring focus to in-house engineering, environmental, and surveying capabilities.

Cardinal and Lemke were acquired by Enviro Clean, LLC in 2014. This family of companies is now one of the most comprehensive civil and environmental service firms in the Southwest.
