The Worcestershire Association of Carers is a registered charity which was founded in 1997. We are an independent source of information, advice and support for the 63,000 unpaid adult carers in Worcestershire and also provide Social Prescribing and Lifestyle Advice services in Redditch, We provide a range of services for carers, mainly through the Worcestershire Integrated Carers Hub. The services include a carer helpline, carers well being assessments, carer groups, training and information sessions, a carers emergency card. We also help carers make their voices heard at a strategic and decision making level. Our other projects include Working for Carers which aims to work with employers to support carers in the workplace and Carers Unlimited which provides activities for carers to give them a break from their caring role. We welcome opportunities to work in partnership with other organisations and businesses, and are always looking for volunteers in a wide variety of roles.
