Carlin Sales headquarters My father, Lindor R. Maletzke Jr., continued in the industry working for his father, and, in the late 1940s, he founded Lin’s Flowerland. He was a great florist, grower and nurseryman. We had two retail locations, a nursery and sod fields. I grew up working with my father learning both about the business and the industry. In 1972, we founded Carlin Sales as a wholesale distributor to serve the grower. With your support for over forty years, we have grown, expanded and reinvested through great staff, convenient locations, increased use of new technology and strong support of education within the industry. In October 2004, we acquired ProGreen Plus to broaden our scope of service and provide product lines to serve the landscape industry. Our ProGreen Plus product lines are now stocked at all of our locations. Most importantly, with your support we are determined to continue our commitment as a family business. Our son Michael Maletzke (fourth generation) joined the company several years ago, and he has brought new energy and drive for Carlin/ProGreen’s continued success for years to come.
