Cascade AIDS Project is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Portland, Oregon, with service sites in Vancouver, Washington. It is the oldest and largest community-based provider of HIV services, housing, education, and advocacy in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Founded in 1983 and incorporated in 1985, CAP has grown from a small operation to a broader organization supported by volunteers. The organization focuses on supporting people living with or affected by HIV, reducing stigma, and providing healthcare access to the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. It helps clients secure housing, obtain essential medical care, and access life skills training and emotional support from its programs at its main sites in Portland and Vancouver. In January 2026, CAP appointed Kevin Bumatay as chief executive officer.
