Catholic Volunteer Network is a mid-sized nonprofit that coordinates a network of Catholic and faith-inspired service programs in the United States and around the world. Its work connects programs, schools, and leaders to help volunteers discern their calling, build the skills needed to serve effectively, and sustain a lifelong commitment to justice grounded in Catholic Social Teaching. The organization pursues three core strategies: discernment and development, collaboration and capacity building, and amplification and advocacy. Thousands of volunteers participate annually through member programs to accompany communities and witness service in action. Founded more than sixty years ago and based in Bethesda, Maryland, the network continues to support a new generation of volunteers, leaders, and programs aligned with its mission.
