Catholic Volunteer Network is a community of programs, schools, and leaders who believe that faith and service can shape a more just and hopeful world. Our core beliefs and values are grounded in Catholic Social Teaching, and we help people live those values through meaningful acts of service and solidarity. Our network includes close to one hundred Catholic and faith-inspired service programs across the United States and around the world. Together, we help people discern their call, grow in the skills they need to serve well, and build a lifelong commitment to justice. We also strengthen the field itself by fostering collaboration, offering formation opportunities, and creating space for reflection, learning, and shared action. Our work centers on three key strategies: • Discernment and development. We support the spiritual, personal, and professional growth of volunteers and leaders, helping them ground their work in CST and purpose. • Collaboration and capacity building. We bring programs together to learn from one another, share resources, and stay strong so they can keep opening doors for others. • Amplify and advocate. We lift up the impact of faith-inspired service and affirm it as a meaningful pathway for change in a world hungry for hope. Every year, thousands of volunteers step into service through our member programs. They accompany communities, respond to real needs, and witness the Gospel in action. Their experiences shape who they become and how they continue to lead in their families, churches, neighborhoods, and workplaces. For more than sixty years, Catholic Volunteer Network has strengthened the field of faith-inspired service. And we continue to walk with a new generation of volunteers, leaders, and programs who are ready to serve with courage, humility, and love.
