Catie's Closet provides clothing and basic necessities to more than 90,000 students experiencing the traumas of poverty and homelessness in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. With our two signature programs, we build and maintain relationships with schools and social service agencies to serve students and children across classrooms and the community. 

Our In-School Closet Program allows us to serve students right where they are: in school. We transform unused spaces inside schools where 50% or more of the student population is living in poverty. Children can choose an unlimited amount of items to empower them to learn and play confidently. We currently operate closets in 140+ schools.

Our SOS Urgent Response Program supports the urgent needs of children transitioning between stable living conditions. Once we receive a special order from our agency partners, we work to create a customized package with up to two weeks’ worth of clothing and other essentials. Children typically receive their SOS orders within 24-48 hours to provide rapid relief.
