Established in 1987, we have been the #1 SBA Microloan lender in NJ for 19 of the past 21 years, and we consistently rank in the top ten microlenders in the United States - we were ranked number one in loan dollar volume in 2015.  CBAC is also one of the top-performing USDA Rural Development Microloan lenders in the nation. 

CBAC offers loans to small businesses ranging from $1,000 to $250,000 through a number of loan programs and partnerships. We also leverage our financing with loans and equity investments from the private sector. Our partners include Bank of America, Citizens Bank, Colonial Bank FSB, First National Bank of Elmer, Fulton Bank, Newfield Bank, Ocean First Bank (formerly Sun National Bank), Santander Bank, Susquehanna Bank, TD Bank, The Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank N.A. to name a few. 

In the past three years (June 30, 2017), CBAC made over $8.9 million in loans in the South Jersey & Philadelphia (38 of those loans totaling $1.3 million were to businesses in Camden alone).  The businesses, in turn, used their loans to create and retain 3,487 jobs, develop or rehabilitate 536,110 square feet of commercial real estate, and obtain $28,607,005 in leveraged, private financing from partner lenders.
