C&D Skilled Robotics, Inc. was founded in 1964 with the intention of become a supplier of choice for engineering, manufacturing and controls for complete end of line robotic solutions. This combination of experience and leading edge technology made the company a recognized leader in a competitive marketplace. In 2008 Gastone Trecco, owner of Euroimpianti S.p.A. an Italian based automation company, purchased C&D Robotics, Inc. and added his registered SKILLED® robotic line to C&D’s current offering and thus creating C&D Skilled Robotics, Incorporated. With this new ownership the company manufactures complete material handling systems and custom equipment, including industrial gantry robots, SCARA robots, articulated arms, Laser Guided Vehicles (LGV/AGV) and Automatic Truck Loading Systems.
