The Smart Content Council is part of the international Content Delivery & Security Association, bringing together content delivery and security executives across the Media & Entertainment industry to address shared challenges. It organizes collaboration through working groups, promotes new technologies that influence content creation workflows, and offers networking at global events, in newsletters, and on social media. The Council focuses on three areas: content security and cybersecurity; the Content Localisation Council for localisation and access services; and the Smart Content Council addressing LMT and applied data. Based in Boise, Idaho, the organization operates as a small team serving professionals in the entertainment provider space. In 2021, CDSA launched the App & Cloud Assessment Programme, extending its security and assessment work into cloud-based software environments.
