Efengee Electric was born in 1919 in the city of Chicago. The vision of the company was simple, help electricians get the material they needed quickly and with ease. Efengee grew to become a one-stop shop for electrical contractors throughout the great city of Chicago. In 1988, Consolidated Electrical Distributors acquired the assets of Efengee Electrical Supply in hopes of furthering the business and providing simpler distribution to Chicagoland’s electrical contractors. Over the years, CED/Efengee has grown immensely, but we have never forgotten where we came from and who got us here; our customers. Since our inception, we have believed in tailoring our business to those who use it. We believe in doing business one customer at a time, and that’s the way it will always be.
