Mission The Mission of the Cedar Hill Fire Protection District is to Protect Life and Property from Fire and Other Emergencies with in the Community through Public Education, Code Management, and Incident Response. General Information The Cedar Hill Fire Protection District has a response area of approximately 82 square miles. The Fire District has three engine houses. It has eight pieces of firefighting equipment, three staff vehicles, two boats, and a safe house. Station one is manned with two 24 hour shift personnel seven days a week. There are also two 50 hour and four 40 hour personnel five days a week when at full staff. Station two and station three have two 50 hour personnel five days a week. The fire district also has about 30 volunteer firefighters and a few junior firefighters.
