Center for Domestic Peace (C4DP) is a public-safety nonprofit based in San Rafael, California, serving Marin County. Its mission is to end domestic violence by protecting victim safety and fostering lasting community change. For more than four decades, C4DP has built a comprehensive range of services delivered by staff and volunteers, including emergency shelter, transitional housing with an economic-empowerment focus, legal advocacy, referrals, trauma therapy, and a men’s program that offers concrete ways to end violence. The organization serves individuals and families affected by domestic violence within Marin County, addressing both immediate safety needs and long-term empowerment. In March 2021, C4DP partnered with Marin Humane to collaborate on joint community initiatives.
