The Center for Telehealth and eHealth Law (CTeL) is a nonprofit organization in Washington, DC that focuses on the legal, policy, and regulatory aspects of telehealth and digital health. It supports healthcare providers, policymakers, and innovators by helping them navigate Medicare and Medicaid telehealth policies, licensure, reimbursement, credentialing, and privileging. Since 1995, CTeL has worked to tackle legal and regulatory barriers and to advance telehealth. The organization collaborates with health systems, law firms, associations, universities, insurers, and venture capital firms to promote compliance and accelerate digital health adoption. In February 2024, CTeL launched the Oral Health Coalition to promote integration of virtual care technology in oral health.
