CenterPoint Aviation Law represents and counsels clients through the process of purchasing, selling, owning and operating an aircraft, and advising on the corresponding tax, regulatory, and management impacts that arise from aircraft ownership and operations. 

CenterPoint Aviation Law counsels clients through the entire life cycle of aircraft ownership.  Our services include entity formation and structuring, minimization of the corresponding federal and state tax liabilities, including depreciation and personal use limitations, 1031 like-kind exchanges, federal excise taxes, as well as state sales, use and property taxes, all while maintaining compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations.  We also assist clients in state or local tax controversies by providing support through the audit and state administrative appeals process. 

We also assist clients with other aviation related issues including FAA and International Registration, ownership trusts, aircraft management, charter, and joint ownership arrangements.
