The Central California Alliance for Health is a regional Medi-Cal managed care organization in the hospitals and health care sector. It provides health coverage for children, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities across Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties, serving more than 434,000 members. Founded in 1996 to improve access for lower-income residents, the Alliance focuses on connecting members with primary care physicians and clinics to help manage their care, guided by a vision of healthy people and healthy communities. Based in Scotts Valley, California, it is a mid-sized organization that has pursued partnerships and initiatives to expand in-network access and care coordination. In October 2025, the Alliance announced the launch of the TotalCare Medicare Advantage plan, offering an all-in-one health plan and signaling expansion beyond Medi-Cal.
