The Central New York International Business Alliance is a regional nonprofit organization based in Syracuse, New York, established in 2002 to promote exports within the 12-county Center State area. It supports local companies seeking to expand international sales by connecting them with experienced mentors, guidance, and information on international trade, financing, and marketing, aiming to streamline the export process and broaden global engagement. The alliance serves manufacturers and service providers across Central New York, helping them demystify exporting and develop practical export roadmaps while facilitating knowledge sharing among members. It also manages an export-focused LinkedIn group to facilitate communication among individuals interested in international business and partnered with the Brookings Institution on the CenterState Metropolitan Export Plan, launched in 2011 to advocate for doubling the region’s exports through targeted investment.
