The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) is a Geneva-based non-profit organization in the international affairs sector that specializes in discreet, impartial conflict mediation. Working across Africa, the Middle East, Eurasia and Asia, it pursues comprehensive peace settlements aimed at reducing human suffering and creating conditions for stability and development. HD leverages long-standing networks and partnerships to engage at international, inter-state and local levels beyond traditional diplomacy, addressing issues such as digital conflict, inclusive peace processes, environmental peacemaking and humanitarian challenges in high-risk environments. Headquartered in Geneva, the organization is overseen by an independent board. To mark its 25th anniversary in 2024, HD announced the HD Asia Peace Fund, an initiative supported by private philanthropy to bolster dialogue and mediation in Asia. HD was awarded the Carnegie Wateler Peace Prize in 2022 in recognition of its mediation work.
