CFESA is a not-for-profit association serving the food and beverage services industry. Founded in 1963 and based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, it brings together more than 450 member organizations across North America that focus on professional service in commercial kitchen equipment. Members stock original equipment manufacturer parts and offer access to an online inventory of millions of parts to support repairs and maintenance. The organization promotes service standards intended to improve reliability and consistency in equipment service. A key element of CFESA’s offerings is a technician certification program designed to improve first-time fix rates and minimize downtime for customers. The network encompasses more than 3,000 certified technicians, providing coverage across service areas for ongoing operation of equipment. In late 2025, CFESA launched a technician competition to recognize skilled practitioners and encourage ongoing professional development.
