CGTN is an international broadcast and digital media organization that produces content for TV, radio, and online platforms around the world. It operates 24 hours a day in five languages and aims to provide accurate and timely news coverage while supporting cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China and the world. Headquartered in Beijing, CGTN maintains production centers in Nairobi, Washington D.C., and London with professionals from more than 50 countries. CGTN operates six television channels, 58 radio frequencies, and 38 new media platforms, with reach in more than 160 countries and regions. The organization emphasizes objective, rational, and balanced reporting and runs the CGTN Think Tank to foster global dialogue. In October 2023, CGTN launched an integrated media report series called Rails of Progress in collaboration with the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation.
