Chalet is Architectural Design, Interior Design, and Construction. We are an architectural design and construction firm specializing in timeless, site-specific design for single-family residences and remodels. We draw heavily from the neighborhood and regional vernacular so that our design takes on a sense of permanence. Chalet's distinctive interiors are done in collaboration with the Architectural Design. Mantle and millwork designs often speak to the architectural theme; while textiles, lighting and furnishings are selected from various periods, resulting in interiors with a sensibility that has developed over time. The clean lines of our buildings, and the use of durable, sustainable materials, create sightlines and backdrops that welcome both traditional and contemporary ideas in interior design. Chalet was founded on the principle that design excellence and best construction practices are inseparable.
