As Riverside natives, Glenn and Cynthia Rowden long felt a calling to create a company that would provide Southern California with excellent electrical service and at the same time provide employees with unimagined possibilities of success. Their dream was realized when, in 1991, Champion Electric was founded. Champion began in the garage of his family home, expanded into a small warehouse, then moved to a large office and warehouse. Through the years, Champion Electric Inc. has completed hundreds of schools and has taken on additional electrical services including commercial and residential solar, general contracting, and LED lighting. Today, Tom Rowden and his Executive Team carry out the vision and mission of Champion Electric Inc. as the Rowdens reduce their role in the company to pursue their community service and missionary callings. With their leadership, Champion continues to provide the same fundamentals and ethical service we are known for and stay committed to providing the highest quality product and service to all we serve.
