Dylan Chappell Architects began with Craftsman and Architect Dylan Chappell, whose work in Santa Barbara over the last decade has explored the relationship between dwellings and their environment. Dylan started the firm based on  simple ideas: that buildings can serve as a link between culture, nature and the people that inhabitant them. Dylan’s process begins with each client’s unique personality, program, and site. Chappell graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and studied Architecture at The University of Copenhagen in Denmark. He is licensed to practice Architecture in the State of California. Dylan has project experience in Kuwait, Panama, Mexico, Mammoth Lakes, Cambria, Montecito and Santa Barbara, as well as various environments throughout California. His projects include restaurants, resorts, hotels, retail, multi-family housing, golf facilities, educational facilities, master planning, complex entitlements, and a repertoire of custom residences.
