In 1975, Charles Salter founded the company on principles of sound engineering, scientific process, inquisitive problem solving, and personal integrity. His motto was simple: to be better every day. Having grown from 1 engineer to a team of 60 that includes acoustical, audiovisual, telecommunications, and security experts, that commitment remains the same. At Salter, our legacy is 45 years of award-winning projects. The presentation studio is often used to help better inform clients. In 1998, Salter authored "ACOUSTICS: Architecture, Engineering, the Environment," a book for architects, engineers, facilities managers, specifiers, and other professionals with a need for information on acoustics.
