At its inception in Portland Oregon in 1992, Chemwest began operations mainly serving the semiconductor industry providing solutions for the semiconductor manufacturing process.   Building products designed to maximize consistency, repeatability, precision, purity, and safety, Chemwests products included automated systems for cleaning parts, dispensing and filtering corrosive liquids, and a variety of cmponents for manufacturing and specialized processes.  This was good proving ground for the company.  Chemwest developed a reputation as a leader in the design, and fabrication of thermoplastic components, and integrating mechanical and electrical solutions to comply with exacting specifications and to withstand some of the most challenging environments.  

Today Chemwest products are an integral part of many leading semiconductor fabrication facilities as well as a diverse array of other industries around the world.  Chemwest continues to diversify and build new customer relationships in industries including, semiconductor, solar, aerospace, glass, waste water treatment, biotech, medical, textile, and many others.  Chemwests core emphasis remains today as it was at its inception, providing innovative manufactured solutions to industry.
