The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership is a nonprofit umbrella organization that administers the public workforce system for the City of Chicago and Cook County. It coordinates federal and philanthropic resources to deliver workforce development services to both employers and job seekers. As the largest public workforce development system in the nation, it has placed more than 70,000 people into employment, partnered with over 2,000 employers, and managed more than $400 million in funds through a network of more than 90 community-based organizations and American Job Centers that serve upwards of 140,000 people annually. The organization is based in Chicago, Illinois, and operates with a mid-sized staff. In April 2024, it announced a partnership with South Suburban College to offer orientation for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and the Dislocated Worker Program.
