ChicagoFIRST is a nonprofit association within the financial services sector that provides a collaborative forum for critical private-sector firms to address resilience, emergency management planning, and response in coordination with local, regional, and national public sector agencies. Full-time staff support members through situational awareness, working groups, exercises, and roundtable discussions aimed at testing and refining cyber, business continuity, and physical security emergency response plans, and at aligning preparedness with public-sector partners. These activities enable member firms to explore best practices, identify challenges, and develop collaborative, solution-focused approaches to risk management, emergency preparedness, response, and resilience. With longstanding ties to the public sector, ChicagoFIRST takes a leadership role at local, state, and federal levels on resiliency issues important to its members.
