Based in Grand Island, Nebraska, Chief has been in the metal building business for over 50 years. Chief Industries, our parent company, was founded in 1954 as a general contractor with focus on the agricultural industry. The company has grown over the years, adding Chief Buildings to the mix in 1966, and many other complementary business units since. Now, we are a diverse corporation with a bright future before us.
