Founded in 1981 with one mission:  to make dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses.

Celebrating over 40 years of granted dreams, the Children's Dream Fund is one of the oldest and busiest wish-granting organizations in the country. The Dream Fund makes dreams-come-true for children ages 3-21 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and have been referred to us by physicians, hospitals, social workers, families, and friends. 

Dreams are as varied as the children we serve, but each one creates lasting memories for children whose most recent experiences evoke memories of painful treatments, surgeries, and often isolation from their friends and family as they recover. 

Operating out of headquarters in St. Petersburg, in the past 40 years, we have made over 3,500 dreams come true!

We are proud to say that we have never denied a deserving child their dream-come-true.
