Children's Law Center of Minnesota (CLC) is a legal services organization based in St. Paul, founded in 1995 to enhance advocacy for Minnesota’s at-risk and foster youth. It provides direct pro bono legal representation exclusively to children, supported by more than 300 volunteer attorneys, and works to ensure foster children receive the services they are entitled to. In addition to individual representation, CLC pursues systemic reform through policy advocacy at state and county levels and offers educational resources through trainings and Know Your Rights materials distributed to schools, shelters, and community organizations. The organization aims to create a stable, supportive environment for youth to improve outcomes and reduce precarious home situations. In April 2026, CLC earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency, reflecting its openness about activities. It operates as a small to mid-sized entity based in St. Paul, Minnesota, focused on child advocacy within the legal services field.
