Its facility offers five playscapes designed to stimulate imagination and creativity, featuring activities such as arts, water play, and fort-building, with a Pay As You Will model for admission Wednesday through Sunday. The museum serves families with young children in the Tacoma area, aiming to provide a community-centered space where experiential play supports developmental exploration. It positions itself within the museums, historical sites, and zoos sector, emphasizing hands-on experiences for the community’s youngest visitors in the United States. Based in the Tacoma region, the organization employs a small team and collaborates with local partners, including initiatives like a weekly Play to Learn class developed in partnership with Bryant Neighborhood Center.
