Children's Museum Tucson operates two interactive venues for children and their families in Tucson and Oro Valley, offering hands-on learning through play. The experiences are designed for youngsters from birth through age ten and center on exploration across art, science, technology, engineering, math, and early childhood education. The Tucson site is located in the Historic Carnegie Library in downtown Tucson and has served the community since 1986, while the Oro Valley location operates as a program within the Tohono Chul botanical garden with a focus on nature-based activities. As a nonprofit organization in the museums, historical sites, and zoos sector, it serves families in the region seeking informal educational experiences outside the classroom. In 2023, it formed a collaboration with Tohono Chul Park to operate the Oro Valley program within the botanical garden.
