In 1979, we opened the doors of our small handcrafted, handmade chocolate factory on St-Joseph Street in Lauzon, Québec, to create jobs for the family. At the time, the store had only three employees and specialized primarily in the manufacturing of Easter chocolates. Then, over the years, our craftsmen began to develop more and more new products on the expertise of European know-how, while adapting to the taste of the local clientele. From small chocolate manufacturers we became master chocolatiers, now recognized as leaders in the chocolate world. It was in 1996 that we moved into a magnificent ancestral home in Old Levis, Québec, and launched a revolutionary product: soft ice cream dipped in real chocolate! With a recipe that remains exclusive to Chocolats Favoris even today, it has attracted people from all over and launched the reputation of our company to new heights as the chocolate destination of choice. We then became a “must” of summer fun. We decided to offer an even more unique magical product no less than 12 real chocolate flavours, with no added oils to dilute, that are now available both in dippings for your ice cream and as a fondue that’s ready to take home!
