Chorus America is a member-driven organization that advances the choral music field through advocacy, research, and leadership development. It supports conductors, administrators, board members, and singers by providing tools, training, peer networking, and access to help choruses serve their communities more effectively. Approximately 2,000 member groups—comprising choruses, individuals, businesses, and other organizations—participate in its programs, publications, research, and personal services designed to strengthen organizational capacity for high-quality choral performances. These offerings aim to help member organizations build resilience and foster strong choral art within their communities.
Chorus America operates in the performing arts sector and is guided by a diverse board of arts leaders from across North America, with its executive team based in Washington, District of Columbia. In September 2024, the organization announced the appointment of Christopher Eanes as executive director.
