Christian Aid Mission is a faith-based organization focused on supporting indigenous Christian ministries in regions where poverty is prevalent, Christians are minorities, or foreign missionaries have limited access. The group engages by evaluating and sustaining independent local ministries led by evangelical Christians within their own countries, coordinating prayer and financial support from believers in developing nations to help these ministries grow and sustain their work. Operating in Africa, China, Europe, the former Soviet Union, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, it works with hundreds of ministries that collectively reach many unreached populations. Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, and founded in 1953, the organization positions itself within the religious institutions sector, emphasizing faith integrity, financial accountability, and measurable outcomes of the ministries it assists. A recent development includes the appointment of a new President and CEO in 2026, reflecting ongoing leadership changes at the organization.
