Château Margaux is a historic winery based in Margaux, in the Médoc region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. Raised to Premier Grand Cru Classé in 1855, its wines are defined by a distinctive terroir and are noted for elegance, balance, and longevity. The estate produces a range of wines, including Château Margaux, Pavillon Rouge, Margaux du Château Margaux, Pavillon Blanc, and Pavillon Blanc Second Vin. Since 1977, the Mentzelopoulos family has guided the property, blending tradition with innovation, from pioneering viticultural practices to a modern winery and wine library designed by architect Norman Foster.
