Circular Computing, based in Portsmouth in South East England, operates in computer hardware manufacturing with a focus on remanufacturing and refurbishing laptops from HP, Dell, and Lenovo. The firm positions these remanufactured devices as high-quality non-new laptops that deliver significant cost savings compared with new models while reducing environmental impact through lower CO2 emissions, reduced water use, and less mining activity, and aiming for carbon neutrality.

The company's origin lies in a question about whether a laptop can be remanufactured to perform as well as new, which led to the creation of the world's first remanufacturing facility for laptops and the Circular Remanufacturing Process, a framework validated by a BSI Remanufacturing Kitemark. Its customers are organizations seeking sustainable IT procurement and asset-management solutions, and it has pursued partnerships to broaden its reach, such as a 2024 alliance with Total IT Global to supply the world's first BSI-certified remanufactured laptops. The company operates with a small to mid-sized team within the computer hardware sector.
