CirrusFilm LLC is an Albuquerque-based limited liability company formed to facilitate the production of feature-length films.  New Mexico has, of late, become highly desirable as a venue for shooting motion pictures and television.  And, with good reason.  At 5,000 feet, Albuquerque  and New Mexico provide abundant sunshine, brilliant blue skies and dazzling landscapes.  New Mexico offers, not only excellent climate, and stunning visuals second to none, but generous financial incentives as well.  Recently, Governor Susanna Martinez signed into law, the so-called "Breaking Bad" legislation providing for financial film incentives of 25%.  Such incentives are lacking in adjacent states. 

The popular television series, "Breaking Bad" and "In Plain Sight" are part of the mosaic of Its many and diverse film projects filmed in New Mexico.  Its network of crew and talent is equally diverse and impressive.  In fact, New Mexico is home to the largest crew base between both coasts. 

Further, its proximity to Los Angeles, makes it ideal to launch any film project.  Film offices located in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, are at the ready to provide assistance in locations and rosters of crew and talent.

But filmmaking in New Mexico is nothing new.  Thomas Edison recognized the stunning landscapes and the cultural underpinnings of this state back in 1898, with the first film made and released then, fourteen years before New Mexico became a state.
