Auburn is the center of the largest industrial complex in the northwest and sits in the middle of the major north-south east-west routes of this region.  With two rail roads and close proximity to the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma, Auburn was identified by the Department of Commerce this year as one of only 15 Innovation Partnership Zones in Washington State.
