The City of Coronado is a municipal government based in Coronado, California. Located on a 13.5-square-mile coastal island between the Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay, it combines historical character with a seaside village atmosphere. The city serves residents, a substantial Navy presence, and millions of annual visitors, maintaining beaches, parks, an 18-hole golf course, and other recreation facilities, and supporting a hospitality sector with 15 hotels and 1,900 hotel rooms. 

As a government administration, Coronado provides local services and governance to its diverse community of residents, visitors, and military personnel. In December 2025, Allyson Violante joined the City of Coronado as Deputy City Manager.
